      Hi,

      I have set up Feedburner and Mailchimp campaigns and noticed that the images on my blog posts are breaking the campaigns’ design.

      Instead of being displayed to fit the templates area, the images are displayed in full dimensions, which works especially bad on mobile. I tried setting the width to ‘100%’ for each image manually but that doesn’t exactly solve the issue – the smaller images then appear badly on the website because they are expanded to fit the content’s width.

      Is there any way I can modify the template so that the images automatically resize for different devices?

      If you’re looking for design consistency in Feedburner, you have selected the wrong service.

      Also I don’t recommend simply cloning blog posts in newsletter campaigns. There are many more potential issues with email clients than images appearing inconsistent. My recommendation is to pick a newsletter template and write some intro copy with an image and a link to the full post.

      Thanks for your answer.

      I am not cloning the blog posts as such, that is the RSS feed that’s automatically taken into the campaign. I use Mailchimp’s newsletter templates that should display the feed correctly. I tried both the original RSS feed from my site and the feedburner’s feed – same problem.

      The strange thing is that it had been displayed correctly at the very beginning (that was more than a year ago), and images from the content would automatically resize in the campaign according to the device. But it’s not the case anymore. So I’m wondering if there are any changes I can make to the template, that would force the content images to be displayed correctly. Any thoughts?

      The theme does not manage the feed in any way. If it’s displayed incorrectly it’s either a plugin or WP core issue.
