      Hi Daniel,

      Seems you’ve been very busy … I tried to find documentation on this but all I could locate was you responding to a small discussion about it –

      I’m looking to create a custom 404 page using Enlightenment (which is fantastic by the way!)

      I can’t locate a 404 template – so not sure how to go about this with this theme…
      (they’re all different apparently) I have a custom 404 with Pinboard but can’t figure what’s up with this one.

      You can assign sidebars to the 404 template and add any content to it. Alternatively you can duplicate the index.php file and rename it to 404.php and add your custom code in it.

      I’ve customized the 404 template in Theme options/Templates but 404 pages aren’t generated from what I can see, and aren’t customized with a 404 title or message.

      I don’t understand how to correct this in order for literal 404’s to call the 404 page, as it does with Pinboard.

      One of my sites using Pinboard (http://bcr8tive.com/hi.html) is a good example of what I’m looking to do with Enlightenment, on my client site (http://thedesigndivablog.com/hi.html) (both being non existent pages on the site).

      Try adding a widget with a “not found” notice in the content sidebar to the 404 template.

      I’m new to this theme and still getting my head around it’s flexibility. Could someone tell me how to add ‘a widget with a “not found” notice in the content sidebar to the 404 template.’ I know how to add widgets to sidebars under “Appearance -> Widgets”, but how do I do this for a specific template?
