      I’m in “Theme Options”, and I wanted to set “Full Posts Before Grid…” for the home page to 1 (I want a full-width preview and then boxes below it for several reasons) and then “Full Posts Before Grid…” for other blog pages (like, category search pages) to 10 (because I want them to be a consecutive list, not a grid).

      Problem is, if I do that, ALL blog pages will show 1 full post, 9 gridded posts below it, and then any older post below them will be back to displaying as full posts.

      If I have the numbers set to 1 and 3, for instance, the blog (and home) page type shows 1 full post, 2 gridded posts, and then full posts below.

      I have double checked the theme and this functionality works properly. It’s dependent though on the post_class filter so make sure no plugin or other code is messing with it.

      The ‘X posts before grid’ is working fine for my landing page which displays my latest posts, excluding the Portfolio category which I’m using to store my sticky posts for the slider.

      I now have another Page which I want to display just blog posts from a certain category, and display 1 full post before grid.. Which template should I duplicate and edit in a child-theme?
