      I tried exactly what you said, but it doesn\’t appear to be working.

      I deleted the following (and only the following) from my loop-slider.php:

      [code]\”<?php the_permalink(); ?>\” title=\”[/code]

      (obviously, with no slashes)

      I also created a page called Test, and a post called Test.

      When I click on the slider image, it takes me to the post, not the page.

      Minimatica is a gorgeous theme. Thanks a ton for making it.

      I have been trying to modify a child theme of minimatica so that I could have the slider on the home page. I can add a category to the arguments and make sure it only shows posts from that category. I can get it to work with pages by setting post_type to page. Unfortunately as soon as I do not have any images, since there does not seem to be a way to associate an image with a page the way you can with a post, I expect that because of that, there are some containers and items missing which result in the formatting not being quite the same. I could not find a way to associate a page with an image as I was looking through the database tables (trying to find some relationship).

      Is there an easy way to get the slider to work wtih pages instead and with images somehow associated with those pages? I am working on a relatively static site.

      Any help is much appreciated.

      Create a post. Name it the same as the page you would like to link to.
      For example a new post titled BOOKS would link to you BOOKS page.

      Edit the loop-slider.php to delete this code about half way down:

      Me 4! I love this theme and am building more of a static site than anything. I got the test pages I created to show on the home page but I can’t get images to associate with pages instead of posts. Is there any way to do this? Any thoughts? Anyone?

      I am right there with you guys. I’m willing to pay money for a the writers of Minimatica to create an image slider plug-in for the pages. The only other option I have is to create subdomains and install the entire word press theme on each subdomain that I am using for pages with this feature.

      Is anyone from Minimatica here?
