I (possibly very stupidly) created my wordpress pinboard website in a separate folder called ‘wordpress’. I was told (by a developer friend) that I could move the files from the folder once the site was ready/finished. So…I have moved the files from the ‘wordpress’ folder to the www in filezilla and now ALL of the pages, except the index page, are not there. I am presuming that is because they have the default name: http://www.smartlandscapes.com.au/wordpress/why-us – ie, with the ‘wordpress’ folder name in there. Is there any way I can actually fix this error or do I need to recreate the whole site again? With thanks in advance for any help! Trish

It explains everything you need to know about moving WordPress from a directory to another.
My guess is you need to move files back to
wordpress
directory, change the WordPress address (URL) setting as explained in the article and then move them back to the root directory.
