      I am close to finishing my wordpress pinboard site: http://www.smartlandscapes.com.au/wordpress/ – I have a problem that I am hoping you could possibly help me with …I can create a post no problem and I want my posts to feature on my ‘Latest News’ page (without featuring on my front page as well). I ONLY want the ‘Enrich your lifestyle’, ‘Enhance your home’ and ‘Enliven your senses’ posts to feature on the front page – for ever. For example the ‘Pergola Project’ is a post that i would like to show on my “Latest News” page…without featuring on the front page. I dont want it to display on my front page…just on my news page. AND, Is it possible to NOT feature the 3 posts “Enrich your lifestyle” Enhance your home and “Enliven your senses” on the news page, as I only want them on my front page.

      You can set the front page as static and turn the three featured posts into pages and use this plugin to display them in the “Boxes” sidebar.

      Pages do not by default display a read more link but show the full content, so yes they will size accordingly.

      Ok, so Ive converted the 3 posts to pages and displayed them using the widget, but the size options are not what i need and I’m not code-savvy enough to amend whatever is necessary to make the display the same size as Pinboard’s 3 column display width default. Is this a major issue to fix? Also, (and I’m hoping this is a simple fix) how do I have my Pergola Project post feature only on the Latest News page, not on the front page? With thanks in advance.       You have the boxes sidebar set to 2 columns, consider setting it to 3 under Appearance > Theme Options and also make sure the images are to scale. There is no way to make them stick to the front page and look like the posts and have a separate news section.

      Hi Daniel, Thanks for your prompt responses to my queries – much appreciated! I have decided to revert back to the theme’s intended layout using posts on the front page – it just looks so much better than what i could achieve with the plug in…and that I couldnt have a separate news section was the clincher.
