      I’m a photographer and like to display my work relatively large.

      Currently, I’m using the “Full-width” template, which is great, my problem lies in how Pinboard is dealing with my larger images.

      It seems as if Pinboard resizes my images to custom sizes alongside my WordPress-set sizes – the largest being 700px. Problem with this is that when I use the full-width template, Pinboard is pulling from the custom-created image (700px) instead of using my WordPress-set “large” size (900px) and then upsizing it to 1000px to fit the frame. This results in generally bad looking photos (Since they’re being upsized to 200px larger than they actually are).

      Is there any way to force Pinboard to use the WordPress-created files instead of relying on the smaller custom ones?

      As an aside, thanks so much for your work. I’ve never had the joy of working with such a flexible and pretty WordPress theme in the past and I’m really happy with it.

      I should probably note, I’ve done some rigging on my most recent posts to maintain decent image size. I deleted the original 700×466 files and renamed my originals to look like 700×466 – they look great, but it’s still a really undesirable fix.

      A few of the posts properly used the originals after the alternate files were deleted, but that’s not the case any longer (I’m simply given a broken image box in that case.)

      Holy crapsnacks. After a year, I’ve figured it out.

      In functions.php under the theme folder, change the “add_image_size” sizes for thumbnails from 700 to whatever you’d like the sizes to be. I changed mine to 950, which is the max size of the images I upload, and they’re displaying in full how I’d like them to display even with my custom css.

      So nice to finally have this fixed and not just rigged!
