      I’m not sure I understand. Let me tell you what I’d like to do:

      I’m a weaver and I’d like to split my projects up into Animal (wool), Vegetable (cotton and linen) and Mineral (metal wire). I would love for posts categorized Animal to end up in an Animal Portfolio, the ones categorized as Vegetable to end up in a Vegetable Portfolio and so on… with each having a separate menu item. Is that possible? I don’t see an option for doing that in the portfolio section of the theme options.

      As I said, category can be assigned as portfolio but any subcategory of that category will behave in the same way. You can edit the menu manually under Appearance > Menus and the portfolio categories will also get a category filter as you can see in the demo.

      But I can’t seem to change the color of the menu links when that’s the current page. They’re the right color both when inactive and when I hover over them, but the text turns to the default white when I click on it.
