the theme Enlightenment is really good stuff to start my personal travel-blog π
Unfortunately I couldn’t find a possibility to hide the sidebar at password-protected pages.
There is a lot of traffic regarding this topic in the different forums, but I couldn’t find a way to include the sidebar (I assume, this is a kind of Custom Field) in the password-protection.
I ask now for some advise, where to add the proposed code from this thread:http://digwp.com/2009/08/password-protect-more-than-the_content/
We tried it in the file “sidebar-footer-secondary.php” and some others … but without any result.
Maybe there are other possiblities to password-protect a complete page (content and all other elements) without changing the code which I would prefer, because I am an absolute beginner regarding coding?

Replacing the content with the password form is standard WordPress functionality and the theme just inherits it. If you need more advanced protection you can try the Private Only plugin. It allows you to protect certain posts and pages or the entire site. I use it myself for private websites and it works perfectly.
