      I’ve been reading about not linking slider images – but I have the opposite problem. I would like to link/re-direct my individual slider images to specific category pages i.e. my menu button pages that they represent. I can’t seem to imbed a link that will direct the feature image to those specific pages. I can link an inserted post image, but that doesn’t do the job – that takes a two step search. Can anyone help?

      There is no such thing like “category pages”. There a posts that can be assigned to categories. Because a category does not have any content (e.g. an image) and because posts feeds the slider a category can never be the source for the slider.

      My portfolio page is a selected portfolio “category” as required. I can easily link to that page in any post image that has been inserted into the post. What I cannot do is insert a link to that same portfolio page in my featured image on my slider, which would then re-direct to the portfolio page. Thanks.
