Trying to make Child Theme for Cover-WP

      I’m trying to make a child theme for Cover WP. I’ve gotten over a few hurdles, but I’m stumped as to how I can get the child theme to pull its own layout images. It keeps pulling the parent images from Cover-WP no matter how I try to define their location in the CSS. I suspect there’s some code in Cover-WP that is forcing the layout back to pulling from the parent theme folders. PHP code skills are beginner so I’m having trouble finding it on my own.

      I’ve got the theme up here and you can see how all the CSS styling has taken except for calling the images from the proper folder: http://edgewoodmarket.com/

      I really want to use Cover WP as a parent theme so it’s safe from being damaged by my child theme modifications, but I’m stumped!
