03:42:34 +0000 worknet I am trying to replace the C avatar (C as in Cover-WP) with my own so that it represents the site I am working on, not the theme, when people see the URL in their address bar or favorities list.

I tried to replace avatar.png with an edited copy of my own in myinstalldirectorywp-contentthemescover-wpimages where avatar.png resides. I can see that the file changed on the server, but I cannot see the change in my browser, even after clearing the cache.

Clearly, this isn’t the only thing that needs to be done to change it. What do I really need to do to change the icon that visitors see in their favories bar for bookmarks of my site?

I can open the .PNG and see that it’s not the original. I have tried activating an old theme and reactivating Cover-WP. Still, the default C icon appears and not my replacement.
