      Greetings again!

      The reason I’m writing this post is to ask if your theme is compatible and tested with page/content builder plugins and especially with Visual Composer which is my favorite.

      Your theme fully covers our project in terms of flexibility, clean code, etc but in terms of content creation is limited. Ok, no problem we respect that since you want to keep it lightweight and we applaud for that but it would be perfect if it is or will become compatible with page/content builders plugins.
      That would be a win win for you since you are mitigating the risk, effort and time of work to an external development team.

      I’ve read thoroughly the documentation of the Enlightenment theme and noticed that you suggest Bootstrap Shortcodes plugin but there were two issues:

      a) There are two plugins in WordPress plugins repository with exactly the same name:
      1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-shortcodes/
      2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-3-shortcodes/
      (the funny thing is that they have the same background color which is disturbingly confusing and amateur users might get lost. I found the correct one but I got confused too for a while)

      b) Comparing to the functionalities of other page/content builders BSS plugin seems very limited. Using Visual Composer the past 2 months made me feel like I’m the god of web development (the lamest god ever :P) since I was able to create complex pages in under 5 minutes. Another good option is the Page Builder by SiteOrigin which is also free!!

      P.S. It would be also great if there was a sticky section on this forum or in theme’s documentation with a list of compatible plugins. You know…for content builder we are compatible with these plugins, for SEO with these, for security theses. With this method you are gonna save yourself from guys like me, who writes a whole “book” just to ask a question πŸ˜›

      The shortcodes plugin we recommend is Bootstrap 3 Shortcodes. Support for both Visual Composer and SiteOrigin Page Builder is planned for a future release.
