    From what you want to archive I’m not sure I understand why you need a new template for that? A category seems to me suffiecient for your needs?!

    Anyway, maybe your query is misbuild?

    Try to add:

    (?php $args[‘cat’] = ‘31,53’; ?)

    before the query, whereas ’31’ and ’53’ are the categories you want to see. A “-” before a category number excludes it. You might also jeopardize the portfolio with your procedure, but that’s another story.

    To add your silder to your blog you need to:

    1) Create posts
    2) Add thumbnail images to them
    3) Mark them as sticky
    4) Publish them
    5) Goto the theme options and in section “home page” tick the box for the slider to be shown

    Hi staud,

    1a) Try to check the following:

    – Choose the video template in the post in case you want to show it on the blog page too
    – Choose the URL of the media file when selecting from the mediathek in the pop-up

    1b) Try to check the following

    – Choose the URL of the media file when selecting from the mediathek in the pop-up

    2) On youtube click on “Share”, than on “Embed” and copy & paste THIS code into the HTML editor (not WYSIWYG) of WP. There you find width and height of the iframe who is hosting the embedded frame.

    Two different questions…

    1) What template dictates what the individual post page looks like?

    — The one you choose when you create a post in the dedicated TEMPLATE box.

    2) So when in blog home and click on a link to read the post… what php page does that go to?

    — single.php

    Assuming the “grid view of your blog” is the portfolio than it shows only the headline and the picture. That’s the beauty of the portfolio.
