      This is blacklisting the blocked category not only from the front page, but also from the category page and the back end as well, only accessible by entering the direct URL… I had to undo the changes. Please advise.

      Never mind, figured it out. Amazing the havoc an extra bracket can bring! Anyway, is there a way to ignore/block more than one category? I tried using -72, -93, etc, but it would only take the first.

      Just tried this and it crashed the site, had to restore the function.php file. Apparently it conflicted with line 4, which I modified per another thread to keep from repeating the sticky posts on the front page. Any chance I’d be able to do both?

      For the logo, it’s better to create an image with transparency and insert it into the header file. I tried using custom fonts and due to some sort of layer added by the theme, the fonts just didn’t look right. Had to settle for the stock Google fonts although I was able to pull from those not included on the default menu, by using the method described above.

      Videos are set up as “Video” post type and as sticky, per instructions. The errors I copied above appear on top of the videos, on both the slider and the grid.

      I noticed after deleting the previous version of the theme, all the previous settings were still there (font color, etc) after delete/fresh re-install. I went ahead and deleted the subdomain and all its contents and will start from scratch.

      Thankfully this was not the production site.

      Video shows on slider and grid now, but I’m still getting these errors:

      Performed a manual update on the cpanel, uploaded zip, and wrote over the existing files. Also need to find out how to keep the items on the slider from showing again on the grid. I thought that was a native function?

      Same problem with the embedded videos not showing on the slider. I don’t care much for the slider, but whether on the slider or the grid, the following error messages appear on top of the videos, when “Video” post type is selected:
