    Finally, I succeeded in getting rid of a lot of bugs (or perhaps, I didn’t understand correctely certain topics). It was a hard work, but I don’t regret it because this theme is really nice. Thanks to you for developping it!
    My blog isn’t finished yet, I will add a nice header some day – but that can wait …

    I’m not sure if your problem is the same as those for which a had been searching an answer for a long time:
    You go to the page where you find the list with all pages. There you click to “rapid modification” (or something like that, I try to translate in English) and then you will find a box where you can disable the comment function for the page.

    According to what you found, I tried to desactivate the plugins: nothing changed.
    And I tried to changed the home page to a non-static page: it changes in fact, – but not exactly the way I want: indeed, there’s no more infinite loading of posts, but – instead of 10 posts, all 18 posts I’ve written until now are shown up.
    (I’ll let the non-static page for a little moment, in order to show it to people who could help me, but later on, I’ll activate again the static page if I haven’t found a solution up to then.

    Sorry, I made a mistake – I meant: in the Lecture Options (where you can choose the number of articles to show up). It ‘s there where I let the number “10”.
    And indeed, 10 posts are shown, but not once (as it would be normal), but an indefinite number of times… = the 10 latest posts + the 10 latest posts + the 10 latest posts etc.

    Yes, there are more then 10 articles on the site (perhaps 15, I didn’t count them).
    And I let the default configuration of 10 articles in the General Settings.
    But the latest 10 aticles are shown ad infinitum…

    Back again: I’ve found a solution in order come back to the initial state: I deleted the tag “more”. So the worsest is resolved…

    I tried to do so as you explicated: I replaced all “php the_excerpt” by “php the_content”.
    Perhaps i made an error (I don’t know), but the result was a great mess:
    some articles show up in the wrong order (image, then texte after the tag “more”, title with beginning of the texte), and the image is pulled to the right.
    As I preferred nevertheless the default solution to this chaos, I tried to rechange the “php the_content” to “php the_excerpt”. But I didn’t succeed in getting the initial aspest of the home page.
    Then I changed the theme, uninstalled Pinboard and reinstalled Pinboard, but the result didn’t improve. What’s the matter?

    Noboby who could help me?

    In the meanwhile, I’ve looked around in the WordPress forum.
    There was someone who had the same problem as me, another person told him to replace
    <? php the_excerpt(); ?> by <?php the_content(); ?>.
    I tried to do also (in content.php), but I didn’t obtain the wanted result:
    The image posts continued to show up the summary, and the posts that don’t have any images showed up the full text (although I had put in the tag “more”).

    Wasn’t it the right place where to replace <?php the_excerpt(); ?> ? Or do I have do change something else in order to obtain the full text until the tag “more”?

    I think your question isn’t stupid, because I needed a lot of time to understand the basic functions of Pinboard and WordPress and I still struggle for getting some details fixed.
    As for your question:
    Go to the dashboard. In the left menu, click at appearance and then at widgets. On the widgets side (at right, above), you’ll find header. Open it and pull the content inside to one of the left boxes.

    I’m not sure if I understand your question right: Do you speak of the Google, Facebook etc. buttons?
    If yes, I think you must go to your dask board and click to:
    Appearence > Theme options > Single posts > Social Bookmarks > and there you can try to take of the crosses.
    I’m not sure if it functions, but perhaps you could try it (as that is no code manipulation, I think there isn’t much risk about trying it …)

    Thanks for your answer. (I felt quite helpless, that’s why I answer only now…)
    In the meantime, I have
    – deleted the Pinboard theme, the whole data base, WordPress and
    – reinstalled and configured everything.

    But the problems of the homepage continue – it’s a huge mess:
    – some texts aren’t displayed at all or
    – one of the texts is shown up before the title appears, and it is shown integrally, although I put in the tag more.
    – And there’s a big blank.

    My question:
    Is this problem related to the new version of Pinboard? If yes, could you please tell how to resolve it?
    Or is there another hidden place on the data base (or somewhere else) which still has to be cleaned?

    You must chose a pluggin if you want some boxes. (I had been searching a long time unless I read it sommewhere …)

    I tried also a lot, and I didn’t succed neither – until I read at another website that you must first install a plugin for the boxes. You find a lot of plugins via the WordPress dashboard.
