    Hopefully we hear something soon. I’ve been able to go live with my site but would like to get a bug free version to ensure it doesn’t all of a sudden go haywire with my css fixes. Good luck!

    Are you using the theme version Daniel provided in response #21094?

    After that I’m not too sure (if you got one previous in the thread it may not be the most recent one which was doing the thing you mentioned above. Would try deleting the theme folder all together and reuploading the one from 21094 then try the save button. It should hopefully allow you to add the sidebars then you’ll have to repeat the process for adding the sidebars. Note that the save button doesn’t actually save any of the position settings found below the add sidebar area.

    Daniel’s gone quiet as of late with this issue, but if you hit the save button at the bottom of the page it should add the different sidebars but then a few other issues in this thread will still apply.

    PL – did you try the theme version in reply #21094 in this thread? It still has some issues but that sidebar issue is fixed. The workarounds for the other issues I used can be seen in reply #21122

    I had the same issue – not the best way of course but a work around is to do an exact path in your css to the div that contains the second title and do display:none;

    That’s the work around I’ve currently used and has not caused any issues. Bit of a pain if you have lots of categories but a short term fix until it can be resolved in a more appropriate fashion.

    Hide the titles using css (.sidebar-heading {display:none;}) and use the sidebar option direction in the page you are editing to assign sidebars.

    You can do first part with css…

    .site-content {margin-top:20px;}
    .archive-header.page-header {display:none;}

    The .archive-header.page-header pulls in a photo typically so you are just disabling it to not show, the css will hide that div across every page that it appears. The margin-top can be any number depending on how much space you want.

    Also when you are under Theme Options > Sidebars and you select a template (defaulted to 404) to edit it loads the dropdown again but shows no settings and all you can do is click ‘Save Settings’ or ‘Reset Defaults’

    Additionally when in the Grid Loop tab when you select template to edit it just defaults back to ‘All’ no matter which thing you choose in the drop down.

    So another issue that I just discovered… the home page works great with the sidebars but it’s now disabled the page content on other pages from showing. Little bit confused by what would cause this.

    *Problem resolved* – my error – made a class as display: none; not realizing it would hide all content on other pages.

    Same issue as User3456, sidebars work great but show title / description always defaults to on except for the last one saved.

    Hey Daniel, everything appears to be good now. The ‘add sidebar’ button is no longer there but when you hit save settings it adds the new sidebar without issue. Also tried applying locations and then saving (which was deleting sidebars previously) and seems to be all good.

    Sorry to keep asking about this, my coding skills are adequate but the database stuff is a bit foreign to me these days. Anybody having any luck in figuring out why the sidebars are getting erased when the save button is hit? I’m assuming the save button is obviously clearing the sidebars from the database somehow. Thanks!

    Same issue of sidebars disappearing but at a different point. I am able to add all the sidebars and they appear in widgets, but if I go back to the sidebars tab to edit one of the pages below and add the sidebar locations when I hit save, all of them get erased again.

    Making progress but still issues. Thanks for troubleshooting this!
