      Hi in case anybody else is having this problem too. I’ve resolved this by using AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin.

      I’m not sure what is the default setting since I’ve done too much trial and error, but anyway, in Theme Options – General, my ‘Post Thumbnail’ (Hard crop post thumbnails) option is unchecked.

      After installing AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild you’ll have to go to every single single post and remove and reinsert the featured image. After choosing the image and before clicking ‘Set Featured Image’, click ‘Rebuild Thumbnail’ just above the set button. Quite a chore, but at least I’ve sorted them out. Fortunately it’s not necessary to do this rebuild thumbnail step for new posts.

      Hi, I have a related problem, but kind of opposite.

      I have a bilingual site. I want the posts to show excerpts, and the English version is doing fine. But the Chinese one is showing full posts, in huge long chunks, painfully unsightly.

      I’m totally perplexed because this is my second site. The first site that I have works fine. Both languages display only excerpts.

      Can anybody help? Thank you!

      Hi yes yes, I have been having the same problem too. Which is why I’ve not switched to responsive. (Have switched off the responsive mode.) Would appreciate it if One Designs could resolve this issue soon so that I can use the mobile version.

      For the font size, I managed to increase it by adding this:

      </font>

      before and after.

      I also altered the text alignment, so mine looks like this:
