    In the editing screen of your post, click screen options in the top right corner.

    There you should see a box with “Discussion” next to it, if it’s not ticked, tick it.

    Scroll down until you see the little dropdown menu thing called Discussion, if you open that up, you should see a box which says: Allow comment. Untick that, and you’re good to go!

    Try using max-height, in stead of height. As otherwise it’s a forced size you’re using, in stead of a size limit.

    Try upgrading to 1.0.7 since on my site it works perfectly, and it’s on 1.0.7
    (Haven’t tried 1.0.8 yet because of the reported bugs etc.)

    There’s a plugin that might fix your problem maggie. It’s called WP Exclude From Homepage. I use it on my own site aswell and it works like a charm! ๐Ÿ™‚
