    I was just cruising the forums looking for a solution for this website — her lightbox gallery isn’t working. Clicking an image leads to a quickly flashing “The image could not be loaded.”

    iPhoto–Candace suggested a workaround that you might try–I added it to my Unofficial Minimatica Users’ Guide on [url=http://photohow2.com/2011/10/minimatica-user-guide-how-to-set-up-a-wordpress-photography-portfolio/3/]page three[/url].

    It seems like the issue of no images appearing in the home page slider is a common problem. It looks like you’re using the main URL for the Minimatica theme slider and use the slider windows to link with pages on a sub-domain. If you get a chance, would you mind writing back with some insight into the process you used to create the website.

    I wrote about setting up a 4 category front page slider [url=http://www.photohow2.com/2011/09/wordpress-tutorial-tweek-minimatica-theme-to-create-the-perfect-photography-portfolio/]here[/url], and [url=http://www.photohow2.com/2011/10/minimatica-user-guide-how-to-set-up-a-wordpress-photography-portfolio/2/]here[/url] for a website called PhotoHow2.com. The setup I use restricts your front page to four categories, but I wanted a minimal front page for my [url=http://gregaitkenheadphotography.com]photography portfolio[/url]. Does that approach work for you?

    nicoleg–go to Dashboard>>Appearance>>Widgets, click on the “Footer” dropdown, and delete (or drag & drop) “Categories.” Does that do the trick?
