    That’s really odd, I cannot reproduce that behavior, even if I input “2.0em”, which is not really necessary as just “2” is fine to set the Default Line Height to 2.00em.

    I guess the ‘Image’ format really is only for images.
    You can easily achieve your desired effect with the standard post format and the inclusion of a featured image. This will give you your preferred image in the on the index page and will link to your post rather than the image.

    The image becomes so big, because of the theme’s setting to display 2 full posts before the grid. If you use the Wide layout of the theme and the standard format for a post, then your full posts should not show the image stretching across the whole width.

    Looks like you just need to change the layout option for elskeschotanus.
    Under theme options you have a tab ‘Layout’, which allows you to choose your preferred layout.
    You probably have the last one selected, if you select the 2nd one form the right, you will get a narrower version.

    The tagline will show in your header as soon as you’ve solved the issue with your header in general, which I still think is caused by a widget in that section.
    The effect you see in the demo is actually not the Tagline, but it’s the widget used in the ‘Wide’ area.
    So you just put the widget there and Write some text in it. That text should appear as shown in the demo.

    The navigation menu’s font size is defined by the ‘Default Font Size’ under ‘Typography’. However, it doesn’t affect only the navigation menu, so you might have to strike a balance there.
    Additionally just to make sure that you refresh your website when checking for changes press Ctrl+F5 when you view your website.

    I don’t have any widgets in my header and the search button is still there right next to the social media icons. Just try removing all widgets.

    If you don’t want it then you can remove it.
    Go to your Dashboard>Appearance>Widgets
    There you can find the areas of your website that contain widgets, like the meta one.
    Click on the little arrows in the top right corner and then just drag the widget out, which will remove it.
    You can also drag it to the inactive widgets area, which will allow you to remove a widget, but keep all its settings. In case you want to use it again in the future or just check the design without the widget, but avoid having to redo all settings.

    I’m not sure on this, but check the ‘Widgets’ tab under appearance and remove all widgets that you have under the ‘Header’ section.
