      Feel free to delete my previous question, I worked it out by customizing the pinboard_filter_query function in my child theme to display one category.

      By the way, the homepage filter for the slider option should also set “post__not_in” sticky_posts. e.g.
      if( $query->is_home() && pinboard_get_option( ‘slider’ ) ) {
      $query->set( ‘ignore_sticky_posts’, 1 );
      $sticky = get_option( ‘sticky_posts’ ); // added
      $query->set(‘post__not_in’, $sticky ); // added

      … without it, the sticky posts appear in normal order with other posts.

      I have a dedicated home.php for my homepage. How do I modify it to only show one category of entries? I still want the slider to show sticky posts, but I only want events category to show on the thumbnail entries.

      Love the Pinboard theme and the tutorials are very helpful. Thank you for this great work!

      My question is about Pagination — the site owner would like to turn off Pagination on the homepage, but allow it for other blog archives. How do I distinguish the homepage in the code and suppress this feature? Currently, I have Pagination not displayed by the CSS, but that affects all pages. http://wilmorefmc.org/ Thanks for any hints.
