    Are you using Resolution Slider as part of a plugin or did you manually added it to the theme? If you are using it as a plugin then you will not lose your settings, otherwise any modifications done to the theme (except theme settings) will be lost during update.

    Icons and descriptions need to be added manually for each menu item. The descriptions don’t display if the small navbar is selected in theme options.

    Are you sure you haven’t overridden the pinboard_register_styles() or pinboard_enqueue_styles() functions in your child theme? Are you using W3 Total Cache? If so, can you empty the disk and/or opcode cache?

    What you can do is change the post type of those entries. The plugin Post Type Switcher can help you with that. This way those posts will reside in a separate archive and will not display in the main blog.

    The theme doesn’t do anything special to password protect the content. Replacing the content with the password form is standard WordPress functionality and the theme just inherits it. If you need more advanced protection you can try the Private Only plugin. It allows you to protect certain posts and pages or the entire site. I use it myself for private websites and it works perfectly.

    As you can see this doesn’t happen here. I’ve double checked and made sure the theme does not accidentally attempt to load mediaelementplayer.css and there is no reference to that file in the latest version. You probably made a partial update, try installing the theme again.

    I have analyzed the issue and there is indeed a bug when both the background and color are changed. It ill be fixed in the next version.
