    In jquery.masonry.js there’s a parameter isResizable: true on line 71, try changing that to false. Might help, I’m no JS programmer myself, so I’m not entirely sure, but it’s always worth a shot! πŸ˜›

    For some reason the element style starts at 900+ height, and after any resizing of the window, it clicks down to about 670, I don’t exactly know what’s causing it, but I’ll have a look around πŸ™‚

    Just checked your webpage with firebug, the width parameter in “.onecol” is defined with 100%, if I change that to something like 1100px, the site seems to make everything nice and squared in terms of posts.

    I think the .onecol line is in the style.css, according to firebug it’s on line 617 (depends if you’ve altered the file before if it is that actual line in your style.css)

    I think altering that line should help fix your problem.

    I think the boxes are just general areas you can put text in on your homepage.
    I tried putting my site’s pages in there, which went a bit dodgy. However when I just put some text in there (Text widget into the Boxes area) It simply made little areas with text in them inside the collumns where my posts are on the homepage.

    I guess you could use them as introductions to the posts below in the same collumn or something… Don’t really know what else to use them for..

    It says its a self hosted video, so I’m guessing you (in stead of linking to a picture that you uploaded) you link to the video file on your own server.

    I can’t personally test it right now, but that would be my guess of a solution.
    That when you’re selecting a featured image, in stead of linking to an image, you link it to the video you’ve hosted on your server.

    Try checking if the CSS has any width/height/margin/padding that is handled with % (for instance width:50%) or that has the value:auto, those are probably the lines causing the issues. If you change those to fixed values, your problems should be gone.

    Looks like you’ve got a grayish background behind the slider image, try changing some colours in the appearance menu under the design tab. If none of those fix it, head over to the css files and change the background from whatever colour it is to #fff, that should take care of it.

    As for the lines around your posts/pics, that’s a border and a box-shadow respectively, commenting them out in the css is (I guess) the easiest way to go.

    In the appearance menu, under widgets, fill the Sidebar Right box with the widgets of your choice.

    (I’m assuming you’ve got some posts to fill the page when it’s done, if not, create a few, and be sure to give them the same category)

    Create a page,

    On the right, set the template as Portfolio.
    Leave the content area empty.

    Click Publish to creat the page.

    Go to Theme options (again in the appearance menu) and head to the Layout tab.

    Select the leftmost template (content on the left, sidebar on the right)

    Click save settings.

    Now head to the General tab (still in theme options)

    Scroll down to where it says “Portfolio Page” and change the Portfolio Category to the category you’ve given to the posts you want displayed on your portfolio page.

    Click save settings.

    You’re done!

    Go to the page you made earlier, and you should have something similar looking to the demo page (of course the actual layout of your Pinboard and pictures etc. are different, but the general look should be about the same.

    If it’s still different, try changing the amount of collumns for each part of the page on the Layout tab (as mentioned before, under theme options in the appearance menu).
