I changed the link in my bio section and Google still says page does not contain authorship markup. In the other thread I had replied to your reply with more questions and never heard back. One of which was how to add the link you gave to the <head>. So that’s not there yet.
Also, I’d still like to fix the h card and updated errors even they aren’t required for authorship.

Second, can you tell me how to ad the last link you gave to the <head>? Does that have to be done in CSS?
Last, as far as I can tell, my real issue is those errors. I’ve found a few places where people talk about how to fix it, but either it doesn’t seem specific enough to the Pinboard theme to help me, or is just not clear enough. It all involves changing CSS code, which freaks me out after I my site went blank from an error and I was locked out administratively for a few days.
If you could tell me very specifically what altar in the CSS or give me another method to remove the errors, that would be great. Again, they are:

It took a REALLY long time to load, by the way.
Here’s a few things to get you started.
Go to “Customize”. Do this by scrolling over your site name in the upper left of your page. A menu will pop up which includes “Customize”. From there you can set your site name, tag line, the color of the text and background color.
Some of these things can also be accomplished by going to Dashboard>Appearance and either Header or Background. In the Header section you can also add a photo for your header. This is where it can get tricky as far as sizing a photo correctly if you want it to span across the entire page, which I haven’t done and I’m not the one to help you with that.
You can also select a Text Color at the bottom in the Header section.
Under Appearance>Background you change background color there as well or upload an image for your background instead of choosing a color.
I’d create a few posts with photos, assuming you want your posts to have a feature photo that is. They don’t have to be real posts with real content. Just garbage text of some sort is fine, but this will give you something to work with so you can see what your site looks like as you change settings and create the look you want.
To include photos in a post, click “Add Media” at the top left. To set the photo you want to appear on the home page with your title select “Set Feature Image”. It is a blue link in the left sidebar.
Then go to Dashboard>Appearance>Theme Options. This is where you configure settings that apply specifically to the Pinboard theme. Start by clicking on Layout at the top of the page and choosing your preferred layout. There are 6 boxes at the top of the screen with varied options. I don’t know what it looks like when you look at yours, but mine are actually blank. I don’t know why, but I do know that when I scroll over them phrases pop up to describe what each one is and clicking on them changes the layout of my home page. So choose if you want a side bar, if you want it on the left or the right, if you want a wide side bar that takes up half the page, etc. If you choose one with a wide side bar, your columns will be narrower.
You can mess with each one and look at your home page to see what it looks like.
Below that you choose how many columns you want, with the sidebar counting for one of the columns.
You can continue reading through all the options under heading heading in Theme Options to configure things specifically related to Pinboard.
I’m sure that’s plenty to get you started and I hope I didn’t overwhelm you.
Just know that most of us muddle through this and have to figure it out a little at a time. It can be intimidating and take some time to achieve the results we want, but the more you mess with settings and ask questions, you begin to understand how things work. I’ve learned a lot by trial and error. If I didn’t know what a setting meant, I’d sometimes click it and see what it did.
This forum and the wordpress.org forums are valuable tools. I’ve also gotten a lot of answers from doing Google searches. The basic Pinboard info page might be helpful to you as well if you haven’t seen that. http://dev.onedesigns.com/wordpress-themes/pinboard

I’m having issues, of course, wrapping text around my ad. I’m wondering if it’s another bug in the program. Again, this is all new to me so I’m not sure I’m doing it right, but I think I am.
I typed <iframe class=”alignright”
I inserted it in this code near the end.
Initially, it showed the ad to the right, but text was not wrapped. I moved the ad and it defaulted back to the left. I have since tried a zillion things to get it back to the right, but it just won’t go. I tried removing the space before the code, the space after, both spaces, and placing it somewhere else entirely, deleting it entirely, updating the post and starting over. I don’t know why it went to the right the first time and never again, but even so, the text is not wrapping so it doesn’t much matter. I just wanted to know that I was at least entering the code correctly.
At this point, if I’m not going to be able to wrap an ad in text, and if I’m not going to be able to have videos in my posts, then I will probably be forced to find another theme. I have already looked and would really like to just keep this one. Is there any chance this theme will be updated soon and these issues fixed? I have version 1.0.7. I had 1.0.8, but when the posts in my grid weren’t lining up properly, it was suggested I revert back to the previous version, which fixed my problem.
So can you tell me A) did I insert the align right code properly and B) will there be an update to the theme soon that will allow me to insert ads without extra space below, wrap text and include videos?
Also, if you are aware of another theme that is similar to this one I’d love to check it out.

I’d also like to wrap my text around an ad, but I don’t seem to be able to and I figured it was for a similar reason. I just end up with white space to the left or right of my ad with my continuing text below the ad.

It gives code to add to the CSS and then the code to include with your ad code. I’m not entirely sure I know where to include the code within the ad, but I think I did it right.
Are you familiar with another theme very similar to Pinboard that doesn’t have these bugs? I really, really like how my site looks so if I change I want it to be pretty similar.

Kashemey, I did try putting the code back exactly the way it was before, as well as pasting in the whole page of code from my downloaded Pinboard folder just to be sure it was exactly as it should be. Neither worked. I think that once I got the error, nothing I do will change it. It still says the error is there, in reference to the *, but there is no * in the line it’s referring to. I only have access to the CSS Stylesheet from hitting the back arrow to get back to it and have it open in a different window. If I leave that page, I’ll never get back to it without hitting the back arrow again, but it doesn’t seem to matter since it appears nothing I do that page makes a difference.
I’m getting input from people on another thread as well and someone else looked at the entire function.php code I have and said it all looks fine. Someone else suggested re-downloading the theme through FTP from my host site might be the best thing and that’s what I’m figuring I’ll do if I don’t get any other suggestions soon. I haven’t had time to do it or I probably would have by now. I have no clue how, but figure HostGator customer service can walk me through it.
I’ll let you know if I end up doing that and if it works. I won’t have time for a while and possibly not today at all.

I’m thinking pasting in the default info should have worked if anything I do to it COULD work. I think when I made the first change it just locked me out from doing anything and I probably need to re-download the theme. Someone on another forum suggested I do that through my hosting company on the FTP. I have no clue how, of course, but can do a chat with someone at HostGator to walk me through it I guess.
I don’t have time to do it right now, so figured I’d see if I get any other suggestions before trying to re-download in a few hours.
