    It didn’t work and I got an error report. So I put it back exactly how it was before, but now I’m still getting the error report and my site is completely blocked. When you try to go to http://blissfulmiss.com you get this error:

    I then found a folder I have with all the CSS info. Found the functions page I had messed with, double checked it was the right thing, and copied and pasted the exact info and it didn’t work. I still get the message. ๐Ÿ™

    Before you do it, you might want to try to plugin someone created to overwrite the problems with the new version. If you go to the link I gave you in my last reply, there is yet another link to a thread discussing the plugin and the guy who helped me told me how to install it. However, it didn’t seem to work for me. I’d try it first, though, as it is less evasive than replacing the entire theme and won’t mess with your settings. I however didn’t have a problem with my settings.

    When I installed the old version, it wouldn’t do it initially until I “uninstalled” 1.0.8. When I then tried to install 1.0.7, I was happy to find my site looked pretty much how I last left it. I I only had do one tweak, and that was an edit I had made in my CSS style sheet.

    That’s my experience anyway. I don’t want to be responsible for what happens to anyone else. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It is advised to back up the old theme first, just in case. I did it by copying the CSS Style Sheet and pasting it into a Pages document. I read two ways to do it and that was the “quick” way.

    I finally figured out how to fix the gaps in the grid problem. I downgraded to the 1.0.7 version. Apparently there are some bugs in the new version. If you have 1.0.8, you might want to downgrade as well.

    If you don’t know how to downgrade, here’s a thread with info that eventually helped me figure it out.

    I finally figured out how to fix the problem. I downgraded to the 1.0.7 version. Apparently there are some bugs in the new version. If you have 1.0.8, you might want to downgrade as well.

    Okay PCch . . . I DID IT!!!

    I feel so smart because of you. I figured out how to download 1.0.7. and it fixed my grid problem. SWEET!

    I’m still a bit confused why I have it set to 4 columns and only see 3, but I can live with that. At least for now.

    Well, okay. After a lot of messing around, I finally got it to install successfully. However, the main problem I needed resolved, which was getting rid of the gaps between tiled posts in the grid, is still there.

    At the moment I’m thinking I’m not going to create a header that stretches across the top, as originally asked in this thread, although eventually I might. But do you have any idea how I can fix my problem with my grid? Here’s a link. http://blissfulmiss.com In the far left column, there’s a big gap between the first two posts vertically. I’ve deleted and added posts, changed the setting so the photos are all the same size, but there’s always a gap somewhere.

    Also, I have the layout set to 4 columns, and it’s only showing 3, one of which is the sidebar where I currently have an ad.

    I also attempted to download the old version. From your tutorial on how to upload that plugin I did the same with the them. When I hit upload I can find the Pinboard folder, but when I open it there are several php files to choose from. Is there one that includes the entire theme, or am I supposed to download each one individually or am I doing the wrong thing entirely?

    Wow. Thank you for your detailed explanation. Unfortunately, downloading the plugin did not work. I got this message:

    Installing Plugin from uploaded file: ck-pinboard-js-fix.php
    Unpacking the packageโ€ฆ

    The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    I also tried pasting the code from the file into CSS. That didn’t seem to do anything.

    I’m not familiar with FTP . . . so not sure what to do from this point.
